Today has been a regular day.
This morning, as I left for work and waited for the bus, I looked around me and I realized that winter is coming. The temperature has dropped in the morning to the mid-20s, and the trees are losing their leaves. It’s only another month until Christmas!
The run up to Christmas, and OneDrive memories, are also bringing to the surface memories of Elly and just how much I miss our Christmases together. It never gets easier, I miss her more everyday.
In other news, my work day was pretty uneventful with the exception of a bit of a fall that has stirred things up a little with my post surgery site. Though, it was nothing that some painkillers and lying down hasn’t been able to help with.
This evening, I was delighted with the grab car that took me home. I tell no lies when I say the entire car was packed full of cuddly toys, hahaha.
I’ve since spent the evening just lying down and spending time with my Kindle. I’m enjoying the latest book from the sanctuary series, although it is getting a bit dark now.
