My parents arrived in Vietnam just under a week ago, and it has been such a joy to see them both again. Having them here feels wonderful, and I’m so grateful for this time together.
Since they arrived on Friday night, we eased into the weekend, visiting familiar places and enjoying meals and drinks together. It’s been lovely to slow down, soak in these moments, and simply enjoy each other’s company. I’ve especially cherished the chance to take care of my mum and spend quality time with them both.
Today, they set off to begin their travels around Vietnam, starting with Da Lat. Tomorrow morning, I’ll be joining them for a short one-night stay, and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s not only an opportunity to create more memories with them but also a little escape from the usual routine—a refreshing break that I’m really looking forward to.
These moments are precious, and I’m savoring every bit of this time with them.
