Lately, life has been moving at a fast pace. With work keeping me busy and my parents visiting, finding time for my studies has been a little challenging. Even so, I’ve been doing my best to keep up, even if it’s at a slower and more relaxed pace.
One thing I’ve struggled with is setting aside dedicated time to sit down with my laptop and go through labs. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised to find that ChatGPT could be such a helpful study companion. I’ve been able to describe a network setup, run commands like ip addr and ip route, and get gentle corrections when I make mistakes. Even more impressively, I can see simulated output that closely mirrors real-world results when using tools like tshark and ping.
The progress of AI, especially Large Language Models, is truly fascinating. These tools offer so much support in learning and problem-solving, making complex tasks feel a little more approachable. Of course, they are just that—tools. They can provide guidance and enhance understanding, but nothing replaces hands-on practice and real-world experience.
I’m excited to keep exploring how AI can assist in my studies and work. It’s wonderful to see how technology continues to evolve and open up new possibilities!
