And So the End of 2024 Nears…
This morning started like any other day as classes were running as normal at the university. Everyone was in a good mood as they looked forward to the celebrations this evening and the start of a new year.
After finishing work, I met up with Van and we headed over to Becamex Hotel for dinner. It was the final night of their Christmas menu for 2024, and Van hadn’t had an opportunity to try it yet, so we both ordered the set menu. Although this was the 3rd time I’d had the set menu, I still loved it, haha.
After dinner, I decided to walk back home as there were several road closures in the area and I was feeling super full after the 5-course meal! I was so surprised that this year they had closed the main road between the park and government buildings. It was pleasant walking home, and it wasn’t crowded. That was until I got to the end of the road when I saw the madness beyond the police line!
Once I got home, I just took the rest of the evening slowly and relaxed as I bid farewell to 2024.
