It’s been an interesting day today because it’s felt a little like I’ve been standing in front of a beaver’s dam that is showing signs of wear and is ready to burst. The water being the work I need to do.
Due to some IT issues, I’m having to wait until after the weekend to complete most of the work needed for our online learning platform. During today, I’ve been doing odd jobs in preparation for the new term.
This evening, however, was much more exciting 😊
I had arranged a small Christmas meal with Ray, Don, and Rob at Becamex Hotel. My second visit for the Christmas banquet, haha. The meal was great, and I really enjoyed spending time with my friends. John was also able to join us in the end, so it was a nice gathering.
We almost didn’t make it to the meal. I remember I was chatting with Don via WhatsApp and neither of us could seem to get a ride on Grab that was happy to take us. It probably had something to do with the severe storm that randomly appeared out of no where causing a severe down pour and even flooding in Saigon. We did of course eventually get one and made it to dinner without any further issues.
After the meal I got a Grab home with John and am just relaxing now. I’m super excited about my imminent trip to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday 😊
