December 24th, 2021, Elly is five years old!
I remember we were between COVID-19 lockdowns, and I had managed to get to Aeon Mall and buy a Christmas gift for Elly 😊
Recently, we had been playing games together on the computer, particularly Trine and Valheim, the former of which was a platformer while the latter was a Viking-based survival game. She loved to play Valheim with me and we would build wonderful castles and forts with livestock and farming. We would also adventure out and see what scary monsters we could find – I used a cheat system at the time to employ a creative mode where the creatures wouldn’t attack us.
We clocked so much time in that game together, and she loved her pet tigers and all the farm animals we herded together.
Sadly, I’ve not been able to play that game since Elly left. Even though it was one I could sink many hours into relaxing, it just did not feel the same without Elly. That’s also the case with several other games we played together.
Anyhow, for Christmas, I bought her this Viking Castle set, which she loved so much, haha. She even recorded a video herself as I spent a good hour putting it together for her 😊
I remember us playing on the living floor together many times.
I miss my girl so much.
